The BLM continues to sell leases of parcels in Greater Chaco. Some of the designated parcels are only 10 miles from the border of Chaco National Historical Park. Other parcels are right in the middle of indigenous communities already overrun with drilling.
We're calling on supporters to target New Mexico Congressional district offices and BLM field offices. Below is a list of officials, (elected, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Indian Affairs) that can be contacted.
Please consider organizing a solidarity action or event to stop fracking in Greater Chaco. Meet with officials, send letters or emails, take pictures, rally, write a letter to the editor, and interrupt. Any action is a great action!
